How is Money Made?

The materials and methods used in making money are two crucial things. As for coin money, metalworking is but a necessary skill. Making metal coins can be complex in terms of production and design. Before, coin money was manually made, but now they are machine-made through the use of modern screw-presses and other advanced money-making machineries.

With regards to paper money, the production of banknotes allowed for them to be used as money. Initial banknotes were printed in black or white, although at present, they come in vibrant colours and stunning designs. They are highly recognisable as national currency, and can easily be hard to imitate and readily be distinguished from counterfeit ones. To eliminate the risk of forgery, national banks that officially make national currencies use sophisticated machineries and materials in printing or making money.
